Meet Dr. Naz Khan
"I always wanted to work in a new ,inviting, exciting and futuristic space in primary healthcare. I also wanted to learn bold ideas and new skills to improve health care for patients and myself."
Dr Naz Khan has been working in WA hospitals since 2008 and is working towards her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of GPs. She completed her internship at RPH and then took a break for her family. She then joined Sir Charles Gardiner hospital since 2014. Dr Khan's favorite aspect of general practice is following the growth of families, from the first positive pregnancy test to children in clinic. She also has worked in Emergency medicine and has completed a certificate in Emergency medicine. She has experience in pediatrics and also has worked in Radiation oncology in SCGH to gain experince in cancer care.
Dr Khan's Special interests are Children and adolescent health, women's health, sexual and reproductive health, Antenatal care , cancer care and Emergency medicine. She has joined Next Practice as she feels strongly about the importance of prevention and is passionate about empowering patients and involving them in their own healthcare.
