About Dr Oybek

Dr Oybek Rustamov has extensive scientific and clinical expertise in the evaluation of ovarian stimulation and IVF Cycles. His passion is helping families grow by using the amazing advancements in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Oybek is a member in of The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists of The United Kingdom and has completed subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Cambridge University Hospital.

Fertility Consultations

At Next Practice Newstead, Oybek will be providing Fertility Consultations for those interested in starting a family or wanting to add a new bundle of joy to their family.

Getting started towards your journey:

The first step, is to book in with one of our GPs for a consultation. Our GP’s will do a thorough initial consult to understand your health, Organise a referral to Dr. Oybek and start your pre work up with referrals for blood tests and other scans. Your partner (if applicable), is also welcome to join this appointment and get started with their tests as well.

Once the preliminary results are back, an Initial Fertility Consultation will be scheduled with Dr. Oybek.

What to expect at your Initial Fertility Consultation:

This initial appointment with Dr. Oybek will allow him to understand you and your partners (if applicable) journey and personal circumstance. It will cover your full medical history, reproductive history, and lifestyle.

The results from your initial tests will be discussed, and these investigations will allow Dr. Oybek to evaluate your fertility based on a number of different factors. The recommended course of treatment will be discussed during your follow-up.

Follow Up Consultations:

The recommended course of treatment will be discussed at your follow up appointment. Fertility can be complex, which is why we offer a multidisciplinary approach to pre conception health and care. Dr. Oybek will discuss the right options for you, which may included the following:

• Timed intercourse and ovulation induction (OI)
• Intrauterine insemination (IUI)
• In vitro fertilisation (IVF) with or without microinjection (ICSI)
• Gynaecological surgery to remedy underlying issues

Dr. Oybek is able to assist in all the above treatment options and will discuss what is right for you.
