Dr Ray Stantz completed his medical training in WA in 2005 and finished his specialist GP training in 2012. During this period, he became a GP obstetrician in Albany and enjoyed living & working in rural regional WA for seven years before returning to Perth to continue working as a GP obstetrician. He also had a rewarding position of teaching medical students for Rural Clinical School.
Dr Ray Stantz has a wide range of interests across general practice. He feels that being a doctor is a continuous process of learning and mastering of clinical skills. The most fulfilling aspect of general practice is to have the privilege of providing continuous care to our patients over a long period of time, and to walk alongside our patients in their journey through life.
In his spare time, Ray enjoys appreciating cuisines from all over the world, and taking walks in nature whilst listening to music or a thought provoking podcast. He loves travelling with his family and friends, and hopes to tick “Seeing the Aurora Borealis” off his bucket list one day.
