Margaret Wu

Dr. Margaret Wu, TCM MD, MMedSci, PhD, has over twenty years clinical experience as a Chinese medicine practitioner. She was a senior clinician working with people with cancer at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing, where she also engaged in clinical research and molecular biology.

She has passion for healthcare for disadvantaged communities. Margaret was a volunteer clinician in a medical team in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, where she worked with cancer patients. She also worked on the front line in the fight against SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndromes) in 2003 in Beijing. Currently, Margaret is a registered Chinese medicine practitioner with Chinese Medicine Board of Australia. She is a clinical supervisor at Western Sydney University and University of Technology Sydney.
