Dr Riaz Hashemi is the Director and a General Practitioner at Next Practice Claremont in Western Australia. He graduated from Jondi Shapour University in Iran in 2010 and moved to Australia in 2014. He has had the privilege of serving as a General Practitioner in Perth since 2015.
In 2020, Dr Riaz founded SkinScan, which introduced AI technology for skin checks. He led this initiative until 2023, when he felt it was time to start a new chapter. After leaving SkinScan, he began negotiating and planning for Next Practice Claremont which is set to open in September 2024. Additionally, Dr Riaz co-founded Medical AI Doctor Assistant Mediqo in September of 2023, aiming to enhance medical care through AI assistance.
At Next Practice Claremont, Dr Riaz's focus is on integrating advanced technology with compassionate patient care.
