Meet Maya Dawda
“I believe we have the capacity to optimise innovative technology and skill to transform the standard healthcare system to one that is showered with efficiency, fairness, trust and care… a truly ‘Next Practice’ approach; one that I am passionate about, and extremely excited and proud to be involved with.”
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Maya is now Canberra-based and studying a double degree in economics and design at the Australian National University. Having experienced school in both England and Australia, and successfully completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Maya has a hunger for meeting new people and learning new things.
NextAid, with its care-for-care purpose, resonates with Maya’s core values. She believes it to be a generous gesture in the step towards a globally equitable healthcare system.
Maya has an appreciation for the world of arts; specifically piano, music, fashion, graphics and dance. Being surrounded by family and friends, both at home and when travelling, is something she also cherishes.
