"I’m here, as part of the team at Next Practice Deakin, to strive to ensure that all Australians have access to quality care regardless of their age, diagnosis or where they live."

Nikki is a Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of clinical practice as well as extensive teaching, leadership and research experience. Nikki has won multiple awards for her contributions to nursing in Australia, including an Order of Australia Medal and the inaugural Australian College of Nursing, Federal Health Minister’s trailblazer award for innovation in nursing research.

Nikki is particularly interested in palliative care. She is a committee member of Palliative Care Nurses Australia and has led research in this space.
