Dr Kirk started her career in Research Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She then did a Master of Science in Biology, specialising in developmental toxicology. She has taught Histology, Developmental Biology and Introductory Biology for science majors and non-science majors at The George Washington University. She has also taught Neuropsychology labs at the Australian National University.
Dr Kirk decided to do medicine as a mature-age student. Her GP special interests include infertility, bariatric medicine, immunology, and neurodivergence. Dr Kirk is a neurodivergent herself and enjoys helping people with suspected diagnoses or diagnoses learn how to work with their neurodivergent brains.
Currently, Dr Kirk does not perform Medicare rebatable care plans, such as Mental Health Treatment Plans or GP Management Plans.
