Anna is a chronic disease Nurse Practitioner specialising in chronic cardiac disease, chronic respiratory diseases and supportive care. Anna’s professional journey has seen her work as an ICU nurse and accomplish various significant achievements including embedding the ED Diversion Program in Monash Medical Centre. Anna started this pilot service in 2017 as a Nurse Practitioner candidate and it went on to win the Nursing and Midwifery Awards and was nominated in the Victorian Healthcare Awards.
Anna has a passion for caring for patients with complex medical conditions and enables her innovative, evidence-based and thinking-outside-the-box approach. Anna takes an empathetic and non-judgemental stance, making patients feel heard and validated with experience in reading and understanding patterns in people and disease trajectory.
Outside of work, Anna loves to challenge her body and keep fit including running a marathon, Muay Thai, Cross Fit and hiking in different places around the world. Anna is also a musical theatre performer and religious meditator.
