Dr Aseen Wajdi graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad in 1992, working as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology registrar for two years in Baghdad and Amman. She became a member of the Royal New Zealand College of GPs in 2006 and became a Fellow in 2011. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs in 2012.
Aseen has a wide range of interests including general disease management, preventative medicine and women's health. She particularly enjoys rapid response and how the active management of cases can improve patient outcomes. Aseen has proudly worked in multicultural environments, helped vulnerable people and refugees, and has worked as a GP around the world including in Jordan, New Zealand and Australia.
When she’s not busy working in the clinical space, Aseen enjoys music and travel and has a keen interest in interior design.
