Dr Cheryl Chan grew up in Sydney before moving to Canberra to complete her Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at the Australian National University. She gained valuable experience working at Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital as both a junior and senior medical officer before completing her general practice training in 2021.

Cheryl takes a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care, supporting individuals and families with all aspects of their primary healthcare needs. She has particular interest in preventative health, chronic disease management, women’s and children’s health, and family planning, including reproductive health and contraception advice.

She also provides a range of procedural services, including:

  • Implanon insertion and removal
  • IUD removal
  • Minor skin biopsies and excisions
  • Minor wound repair and management
  • Cryotherapy

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys travelling for both work and leisure, and spending time outdoors hiking with her energetic German Shorthaired Pointer.

Cheryl welcomes new and existing patients and is available for consultations during both weekdays and weekends. For procedural bookings, please speak with reception about the nature of your appointment and associated fees.
