Dr Elizabeth Wong graduated from McGill University, Canada with a M.D, C.M (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) degree in 2002. She then moved to the Unites States of America and completed three years of family medicine residency in Brown University’s Family Medicine Program. After working in the US for several years, Elizabeth moved to Australia. She now calls Canberra home and has been practicing as a GP for more than ten years.
Elizabeth has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, dermatology, health screening, antenatal care and chronic disease management. She has attained FPAA National Certification in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors and is a fellow of the RACGP. She performs minor procedures including Implanon / Intrauterine Device (IUD) insertion and removal.
Outside of her work, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family and a wide range of activities including travelling, hiking, gardening, music, art, swimming and tennis.
Elizabeth looks forward to being a part of our NextAid vaccination donation program to help developing countries. She joins our team aiming to continue providing the best outcomes for patients, improving patient safety, productivity and efficiency together with providing compassionate and caring support for patients of all ages.
