Dr Yarub Jamiel is a General Practitioner with over 35 years of experience. He graduated from the College of Medicine of the University of Baghdad in 1988. He has practiced significantly in both Australia and New Zealand having become a fellow of the College of General Practitioners in 2004 and has called Canberra home since moving here in 2005.
Dr Jamiel has also studied extensively in many subfields of medicine relating to general practice, including dermatology and emergency medicine. Dr Jamiel believes in fostering a long-term relationship with his patients, applying his extensive knowledge and experience as a doctor with his deep understanding of his patients to provide them with the best medical care for their needs.
In his spare time, Dr Jamiel enjoys following Manchester United (his greatest passion after medicine) and travelling the world with his family.
