Dr Ellen Paton is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame after first completing a degree in Medical Science with First Class Honours at the University of New South Wales.
Ellen is a medical advisor for the Health Professional Councils Authority (Ministry of Health). She teaches at Macquarie University medical school. She has certification in lifestyle medicine, art therapy and animal assisted therapy. She is a member of the Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. She has a background in children's and adult cancer research and has written multiple papers in this area.
Ellen is also a mum and a published children's book author. She specialises in holistic, patient-centred care.
