Why see a Dietitian?

Dietitians are professionals with the qualifications and skills to provide expert nutrition and dietary advice. They translate the latest scientific information into practical advice about what to eat. They are your health coach for all things yummy!

Dietitians work with a vast range of people including:

  • Those with chronic diseases such as diabetes
  • People with food intolerances such as gluten
  • Those training for sporting events
  • People looking to better their health
  • And people like you and me

What should I expect from a consult with our Dietitian?

An initial consult with our Dietitian will last up to 40 minutes.

You will discuss general health and lifestyle, eating habits, what is working well in your diet and what you are having trouble with.

After a comprehensive assessment, the Dietitian will provide individual tailored advice and steps towards a healthy diet. This will include education and resources through our Next Practice App.

Your dietitian will inform your Next Practice Doctor of progress and coordinate your plan moving forward.

It is recommended that a review appointment be booked within two weeks with the Dietician.

How do I book?

Bookings can be made online via the website or by calling our friendly patient advocates on 9067 7400.
