Max is a highly experienced Anatomy Trains Structural Integration and Lymphatic Drainage practitioner.
He is a Myofascial Release Therapist working with movement and postural correction. Additionally he is a member of the National Lymphoedema Practitioner Register and works with any post-surgical condition such as Lymphoedema and Scar issues. Max has a passionate interest in both scientific and holistic approaches to the human body. He has a diverse range of skills, together with a somatic understanding of the interplay between the different systems of the body. His vision as a Anatomy Trains Structural Integration practitioner is to promote and support physical, energetic, and emotional health.
In Max's work he continues to explore the principals of gravity, axis, spirals and relationships between fixed and flowing parts of the body, mind, and spirit, through daily practice in Aikido and “KI” cultivation. He also builds up his knowledge by regularly attending courses on Somatic Experiencing®, Oriental medicine and Traditional Japanese KI Shiatsu® therapy (Shokyu Jo Level).
Importantly Max believes that the treatment modality is only 15% of the therapy. 85% is the relationship that the therapist develops with the client through their presence and their ability to remain centered and resonate in a primitive way. Max works to connect with the client’s inner world, nervous system to nervous system, and his approach will address what you are struggling with in your body (discomfort, stress, dis-ease, restriction and/or chronic pain issues) and get results that will bring you into balance.
Max also offers a range of techniques from Lymphatic Drainage, Acupuncture, Neurofeedback, Sports and Remedial Massage in Glebe.
Max works regularly with issues such as:
