Next Level Reunion Retreat: A Weekend of Connection, Healing and Insight

Last month, we gathered at Mito Core and GenBiome for a truly memorable reunion retreat with alumni from our previous Next Level Retreats. The weekend was a rich tapestry of learning, embodim

Saturday: A Deep Dive into Quantum Biology

The retreat opened with a thought-provoking and expansive day facilitated by dentist Dr Jalal Khan and osteopath Kelvin Nye. Together, they guided us through the world of quantum biology—not just as abstract science, but as something to feel and experience. Participants had the chance to explore the Primary Respiratory Mechanism through hands-on practice, leading to a powerful collective realisation: when we truly tune in to the body, we activate the healer within.

We also unpacked the idea that dental health is far more than just about teeth—it’s intimately connected to cranial structure and function, and by extension, the nervous system, which is central to healing. The discussions were profound, and the early morning swim at Bondi Beach offered the perfect grounding start to the day.

Sunday: Heart-Centred Healing with Family Constellations

On Sunday, Maria Dolenc held a moving and heartening session using Family Constellations. The experience opened up space for deep, non-verbal healing—bringing clarity to the often-unseen relational patterns that shape our lives. The atmosphere was tender, reflective and profoundly connecting.

Even the weather held up its part—Sunday morning’s swim went ahead under gentle skies, as if nature was in sync with the flow of the weekend.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

Our hearts were full, and so were our bellies—thanks to Phei’s delicious cooking, which transformed the GenBiome kitchen into a vibrant, professional space. A big thank you also goes to Jess, whose calm and steady logistical support ensured that everything from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening ran like clockwork.

With 15 of us at Mito Core, the spaces worked wonderfully for our group meals, discussions and hands-on activities. The sense of togetherness and shared purpose made the weekend all the more special.

Looking Ahead

This retreat was a reminder of how powerful it is to come together—not just to learn, but to feel, move, share, and heal. We’re already looking forward to hosting more gatherings like this, where we can continue to grow both individually and as a community.

We’re also excited to share that we’re currently preparing an amazing retreat in Byron Bay this November. It promises to be another deeply nourishing experience, blending science, embodiment, and nature in one of Australia’s most beautiful settings. Stay tuned for more details—we’d love to see you there.

Thank you to everyone who brought their energy, openness and curiosity. Until next time.
