World Immunisation Week

Did you know this week is World Immunisation Week?

Did you know this week is World Immunisation Week? World Immunisation Week aims to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease. At Next Practice, for every consultation at one of our clinics, we donate towards a vaccination for someone in need living in the developing world. Through UNICEF Australia, we are supporting the eradication of maternal and neonatal tetanus – a swift and painful killer disease, killing 30,848 newborns in 2017 alone. MNT deaths can be easily prevented by hygienic delivery, cord care practices and by immunising children and women with Tetanus Toxoid Containing Vaccines (TTCV).
