"Chronic conditions are difficult to live with and the problems are complicated. The root causes of the same condition can vary by each individual. The prolonged illness also results in detrimental effects not only on the physical level but also on the mind and spiritual aspects. My focus as a healer is to help patients with chronic conditions to turn the corner towards better health and to embrace their life with more positivity."
Dr Hyonna Kang has been practicing in an integrative medical centre and she is delighted to become part of the collaborative team at GenBiome, the next practice of care for personalised and holistic medicine.
Dr Kang is a Doctor of Korean Medicine and registered with AHPRA and AACMA in Australia. She is the foremost practitioner in Australia of Korean Eight Constitution Medicine (ECM).
Eight Constitution Acupuncture is a powerful method that can result in rapid improvement of chronic complaints such as: neuralgia, asthma, glaucoma, irritable bowel syndrome, hay fever, arthritis, endometriosis, infertility, dermatitis, low immune function, chronic pain, migraines, insomnia, and digestive dysfunction. It can also help when children are experiencing sleeping issues, emotional imbalance, headaches, digestion problems, skin complaints, and allergies. Constitutional Acupuncture can not only relieve major complaints, but it can also tend to resolve other complaints at the same time because of the treatment's holistic nature.
Dr Kang has been conducting clinical research using ECM for her PhD (Science) at University of Technology Sydney, focusing on chronic disease including Neuralgia, Eczema, Asthma, and Glaucoma.
Dr Kang is a practitioner of KoukSunDo, a mind-body-spiritual practice based on Korean Daoist tradition. She teaches her patients DanJeon Breathing (deep abdominal breathing), KiGong (energy work), and Meditation to improve their vitality, flexibility, and clarity as a whole person.
Dr Kang is happy to offer a complementary 15 min explorer session to potential new patients for free. Book with Dr Hyonna Kang online.
