Joanne also currently serves as the President of the National Branch of The Continence Nurse’s Society of Australia Inc (CoNSA) and is a member of the International Continence Society (ICS) Nursing Committee.
Joanne believes in three core areas of her professional work. Firstly, continuity of care; not just seeing a person once but contributing to the continuum of their care as life stages change. Next, collaboration; working with a person and their health care team to meet individual health care goals. Finally, education; the opportunity to provide nursing education to staff working within the aged care sector to improve person-centred care outcomes.
In her personal time, Joanne enjoys pursuits such as embroidery, as well as travelling and spending time with family.
