Dr Ilhaam Hameed obtained his MBBS degree in 2003 from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka. He became a fellow of the RACGP in 2021 and works as a Visiting Medical Officer at Queanbeyan Hospital in the Emergency Department, an achievement he is proud of.
Dr Hameed’s clinical interests include chronic disease management, paediatrics, sports injuries and skin cancers. He enjoys working within diverse teams to improve patient care and working with patients to develop their management plans. He is a patient listener and is a passionate and caring health professional.
Ilhaam also has an interest in travelling, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family in his non-clinical spare time.
