Jon graduated from the University of Canberra in 1997 with a Graduate Diploma of Applied Psychology and, in 2011, completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. He has extensive experience of working in both public mental health and private practice. Jon has an interest in treating a broad range of mental health disorders and is particularly interested in collaboratively engaging with clients to create best-fit therapy. He helps manage a diverse range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship issues.
Jon’s approach is caring, gentle, thorough and empowering. He prides himself on assisting people to understand and overcome obstacles to change and take charge of their lives and enjoys collaborating with health professionals in the interest of holistic care. Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and friends; he is married with two adult children and a granddaughter. Jon also enjoys reading, film, travel, food and exercise.
