"I’m committed to integrative and multi-disciplinary approaches to health and that’s why I decided to be part of the team at Next Practice Genbiome. My aim is to help people resolve pain, breathing and airways issues and other symptoms as quickly as possible, in addition showing them how to improve their long-term health."

Rosalba is an osteopath with over 35 years of experience in clinical practice. She also has a PhD from RMIT University on the subject of dysfunctional breathing and integrative breathing therapy and holds diplomas in naturopathy and acupuncture. She has recently also trained in orofacial myology.

She believes that it is important to use the tools of modern science while not losing the wisdom that lies in the accumulated knowledge and experience of generations past. She uses hands-on osteopathic treatment, by teaching patients skills and strategies that will enable them to achieve deeper and longer lasting changes. The skills she teaches include breathing exercises, muscle and postural retraining and techniques for mindfulness and stress reduction.

Rosalba is a member of various professional bodies including the Osteopathic Research Alliance (ORA), Osteopathy Australia (OA), Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and the International Society for the Advancement of Respiratory Psychophysiology (ISARP).

Rosalba holds a research position at Southern Cross University. She regularly lectures in Australia and internationally to various types of health professionals on her own research and topics, such as sleep disordered breathing, children’s health and airway function, asthma and COPD, stress related breathing disorders and the importance of breathing dysfunction in chronic illness, dentistry and muscular-skeletal medicine.
