Meet Dr Alyssa Kelly

Dr Alyssa Jayne Kelly graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2013 and gained her Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. She also completed a Diploma of Children’s Health and became a Senior Medical Practitioner in paediatric emergency. She continues to have a special interest in paediatrics, especially in the treatment of common conditions of childhood and minor injuries.

She attained her Certificate of Women’s Health (RANZCOG) in 2016 and offers Mirena (IUD) and Implanon insertions and removals. Alyssa’s other areas of interest include palliative care, the care of patients with a chronic disease (particularly respiratory diseases e.g. severe asthma, COPD and interstitial lung disease) and performing minor procedures (toenail wedge excision, skin lesion treatments, removal of foreign bodies).


Alyssa also attained dual masters degrees in public and international public health, graduating with Excellence from UNSW in 2018. She worked for the SA Department of Health as a public health doctor during the COVID-19 pandemic.


She enjoys discussing and debating contemporary issues with her patients. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys going on off-leash walks with her bearded collie puppy.
