Meet Dr Liam Egan


Dr Liam Egan graduated from the University of London (Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’s) in the UK in 2001. After gaining experience in a broad range of hospital specialities, he completed his specialist GP training in 2008, obtaining membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP)

Liam worked as a GP in Scotland for 8 years, and also held a speciality doctor position in sexual and reproductive health for the same period. He relocated permanently to Melbourne in 2016, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in the same year.

Dr Liam specialises in:

  • men's health
  • women's health (including Mirena, IUD and implanon)
  • sexual / LGBTIQ+ health
  • skin checks

Liam is delighted to have settled in Melbourne with his partner. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, swimming, travel and is a keen musician.
